Young Adults

We have a group of 18-25 year olds that are learning to do life together and stay connected to the body of Christ.  Curiosity sparked?  Check out the Young Adults page.

Life Groups

Our small groups ministry is where we make heart to heart connections that really help each other grow.  When you attend Friends Church you are invited to find a life group that will help you join our family! 

 

 

Sunday School Classes

There are a variety of classes for all adults in the many stages of life.  Classes meet both at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. 

Community Care Network

The community care network is a group of individuals wired together via email.  Needs are emailed out and solutions are accomplished.  If you're a "giver" and would like to know more about how you can help the people in our own community, check out our CCN page.

Community Outreach Projects

HFC began it's first community outreach project last year at the Picture Rocks Park adjacent to the elementary school.  This year we were out in the community helping homeowners clean and recover from the September 7th flood.

Music Ministries

Do you have musical ability?  Like to sing?  There are so many opportunities here at HFC.  Talk with Lea Cale today! 

Missions

There are many ways to support missions here at the Friends Church.  We have local missions opportunities the Sonlight House.  Through Evangelical Friends Church Eastern Region there is opportunity to support missions here in the states and abroad.  And our church has been active in recent years in sending both youth and adults to the mission fields.  In the last 10 years, we've been to inner city New York, Canton, OH and Rough Rock, AZ.  Several teams have travelled to Jamaica and Haiti.  There is a mission trip being planned for Jamaica in February of 2012. 

Parish Nursing

Are you in the nursing field?  Once a month one of the nurses in our congregation checks blood pressure and reviews medications.  What a blessing this is to our people.
